With computers occupying almost every workplace, home, and school, technology has become a way of life. CAETE’s technical and engineering professional development courses can help you make the most of the latest technology—regardless of your level of expertise. Through our curriculum, you can learn to master popular applications, or boost your career by building technical skills. Courses feature hands-on, online, or lecture instruction from respected IT industry leaders. All courses are relevant, current, and applicable because our instructors work in their fields and bring real-world experience to the classroom. Courses are non-academic/non-credit and cannot be applied toward any degree program requirements.
Types of courses offered vary from semester to semester. Typical technical and engineering professional development courses offered each semester are in the areas of Cisco and Project Management.
Most technical and engineering professional development courses are offered online. Some are offered in the classroom during the days, evenings, or weekends. See the listing of courses for the delivery method of each course.
Online courses are instructor lead. Course lectures are recorded and made available for students to stream on the Internet. View a sample online lecture.
There are three grades that can be assigned for non-credit courses: Satisfactory (S), Unsatisfactory (U), and No Credit (NC). In order to receive a satisfactory grade, you must satisfactorily complete the required assignments, projects and/or pass a test(s) for the course. An NC grade is used for individuals who are taking a course purely for personal development and who do not need to be assessed a grade for the purpose of satisfactory completion for tuition reimbursement or receiving credit for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Refer to the professional development course list page to view a list of courses, schedules and tuition rates. Note that you may enroll in courses any time within the indicated semester/session (except for CACI 8001).
