David Mackey is currently a Managing Principal for Security Operations Consulting at ArcSight. He joined ArcSight from the IBM Internet Security Systems division where he created and managed the Managed Security Services Intelligence Center. He also served as the Director of Operations for the IT-ISAC where he helped facilitate communication among US IT Sector companies and the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He has also authored a book, "Web Security for Network and System Administrators," and served as an Intelligence Analyst in the US Army. He holds the GCIH and CISSP security certifications and holds a BA in Russian Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
